Out of my two drafts of magazine adverts, I decided to choose this advert for my final draft. I chose this over the other advert because I felt this advert looked more professional. Also as this advert has a black background, there will be more of a focus on the album cover and information presented unlike the other advert; the theatre background will distract the audience with the colour. Also the language in this advert is more emotive than the other advert. The word 'Dazzling' will make the target audience want to buy the album because it's considered a good album. The layout of this advert is more readable than the other advert; the information presented is one underneath the other which makes it more understandable to read while the other adverts information isn’t structured this way. This advert looks more professional than the other advert due to the colour. There are fewer colours used in this advert which causes it to look less tacky and cheap.

ReplyDeleteOnce again Tolu an excellent final piece. You have used appropriate material for the task set, in which you have selected suitable mise-en-scene, location settings and colours. You also show awareness for the need of a variety of text size. Great work.
